Privacy

This is a draft. Confirm it against the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles before opening, and replace every bracketed placeholder.

The short version

What we collect

• If you join the list — your email, and your trade if you choose to give it.
• If you order — name, delivery address, email, phone, and what you bought.
• Automatically — basic analytics such as pages viewed and rough location by country. Not tied to your name.

We never see your full card number. Payments are handled by the payment provider, and the card details go to them, not to us.

Health information

Do not send us details about injuries or medical conditions. We do not need them and we do not want to hold them. We sell general recovery gear — we are not a clinic and cannot give health advice.

If you do include something in an email, we will use it only to answer you.

Who we share it with

• Suppliers — your name and address, so they can post your order. Only what the delivery needs.
• Carriers — the same, plus a contact number for delivery.
• Payment and platform providers — to take payment and run the shop.

Some of these providers store data overseas. We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone for marketing.

Email

The launch list gets one email when the shop opens. If we later start a proper newsletter, it will be opt-in with an unsubscribe link in every message, as required by the Spam Act.

Cookies

Only what is needed to run the site and remember your cart, plus basic analytics. No advertising trackers, because we do not run ads.

Getting your data, or getting rid of it

Email [hello@tradierecovery.com.au] and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within [30] days.

Some records — tax and order history — must be kept for a period required by law even after a deletion request.

Complaints

Contact us first. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
