Change the setting.
Get out of the boots, drink some water and take two quiet minutes before reaching for a tool or screen. The goal is simply to stop carrying work-speed into the rest of the evening.
Move through the obvious stiff spots.
Use comfortable, unforced movement through the shoulders, hips and ankles. Keep it ordinary. This is not the time to chase a personal best or push through sharp discomfort.
Use one tool, not the whole cupboard.
If a roller, ball or simple warming product feels useful, choose one. A repeatable three minutes beats a complicated routine that never happens twice.
Put tomorrow on the board.
Pack the tool away, note anything that needs proper attention and decide what the next morning needs. The reset ends when the workday has a clear edge.
